I think some people were a bit surprised that Hinson was promoted to Captain last year by Miller. Some in the community doubtless have felt that Hinson should not even be working at the Greensboro Police Department any longer.
Apprently for Chief Miller, the history of GPD began when he got the job.
Disappointing, to be sure, given all the previous evidence that suggests Hinson should have been fired, and possibly should have been indicted.

I seem to recall, Bubba, that it was required at one point that his personnel file be purged. That was back in the good old days of the GPD fiasco.
One cannot pretend as if history does not exist, however.
