Last week, a British fellow by the name of Lord Christopher Monckton became a veritable rock star in conservative circles. He made the rounds on some of the talk shows, and spoke of the upcoming Copenhagen Treaty-- through which the United States under Barack Obama would perilously cede our national sovereignty.
Monckton used to work for Margaret Thatcher years ago:
His lordship was an advisor to former PM Thatcher.
He's been a long time voice of sanity and common sense with his always thorough and accurate repudiation of the "global warming/climate change" nonsense championed by the "regressive" elements.

For some reason, Bubba, he was really doing the rounds last week in connection with this treaty. He is a pretty impressive guy, and speaks in a very cogent fashion. And yes, he spoke of some of the most recent climate change research out of MIT-- which does not support the theory that anthropogenic sources are a huge problem.

I happened to catch his Lordship on the Glen Beck show and he appeared to be quite knowledgeable and well informed. Beau

Yes, Beau, my son also saw him on Glen Beck. I heard him on the Bill Bennett radio show the same day. He is a pretty compelling, credible speaker.

For those who are interested in the MIT work, here is Professor Lindzen's work:

Lindzen is the preeminent scholar world-wide in his areas of expertise, whether the True Believers like it, or not.

One wonders if the present administration is composed of people who are controlled like The Manchurian Candidate (2004).
