From the Kaus Files @ Slate:
It's seemed to me that the Obama administration has made a mistake in the framing of the health care issue: 'We'll raise your taxes and in exchange we're going to cut your treatments.' I mean, how could that not have widespread appeal? It's pain/pain! ... This mistake has been replicated, perhaps, in the subsidiary debate over the "public option."

Fred, it seems that, sooner of later, the administration would have to concede the ugly truths about the plans it would tend to prefer. I don't know if this complex legislation is going to pass; but it will be less likely to pass if the public learns the whole truth.

Let's not count on the MSM to point out the pitfalls of Obama's plan to socialize healthcare in America. And don't waste time asking Hagan to vote no..fat chance !

I agree, Fred, we cannot count on the MSM. The wall of protection the media has placed around Obama is beginning to dissolve slowly, but it seems the MSM has always wanted socialized medicine.
