Was told by a friend that a Christian aid worker from the United States has been killed ostensibly because he was attempting to spread the Gospel in the northwest African nation of Mauritania. Mauritania is an Islamic nation. Apparently, al-Qaeda is taking responsibility for the murder.
The name of the deceased is Christopher Leggett; and his hometown was Cleveland, Tennessee.
I had not heard that, but if it's true it's very sad for those left behind.
Christopher is at Home with The Lord he preached about.

It is very sad. These aid workers take risks that must be every bit as high, if not higher, than our military men and women when they enter and serve in Islamic nations. They demonstrate extraordinary valor, and a willingness to become martyred when they seek to carry out the Great Commission.
