The upcoming Greensboro Tea Party has been organized to protest America's descent into socialism. It is being held at the Governmental Plaza in downtown Greensboro, just southwest of the intersection of Market and Greene Streets, on "tax day"-- Wednesday, April 15, from 12:00 noon - 1:00 PM.
As a conservative, I am a level of frustration that I have never experienced. My president is selling my country from underneath me and i feel completely helpless. My biggest concern is that this turns into a mob mentality at which point I will leave

I wish I could go today, too busy stuck at work making a living for myself and my family. I wish you all good luck and hope you have a good turnout. FYI, regarding the comment above. We are already a socialist nation, the next step is facism. A facist state occurs when a capitalist or socialist nation falls into disarray. I hope and pray that this never happens however without fiscally conservative (real conservative not faux conservatives like Bush) leadership in place we have some major problems.

Michael, I hope the demonstrations locally are peaceful, and I hope opposing groups do not show up to create a disturbance. I share your frustration, but we are not helpless.
Mark, I agree with you that, in some respects, we already have socialistic attributes as a nation. It has increased dramatically over the last six months, and there is likely more to come. I will not be able to be there, either, today; but I hope the essence of our nation can be preserved and ultimately enhanced in spite of all the foolishness that currently prevails.
