The Pacific Research Institute has started up a new organization for physicians and medical students. It is modeled on the well-respected Federalist Society intended for attorneys and law students.
It is called the Benjamin Rush Society, and is intended to advocate health care free of governmental control; and patient rights to secure that kind of health care.
This might be something to watch.
I was two time President of the SMU chapter of the Federalist Society in law school.

That's a great organization from all I have heard, Sam. Many medical professionals are buying into all the socialist/statist solutions that are floating around, and they desperately need some guidance and direction.

I signed up for the newsletter.
From perusing the site, I smell a whiff of corporate interest. But we shall see.

Mary, although I did not detect that same odor, I will certainly remain aware of that possibility. But as I suggested to Sam, there is a major need for this type of thing. Too many physicians, in error, believe the current problems they have with various types of insurance companies will be alleviated with more socialism. They don't have a clue.

Agreed. Most don't have a clue. They don't really want to have a clue.
