Louis Farrakhan Refers to Obama as "Messiah"
Remember old Louis Farrakhan. He is the Nation of Islam leader, based in Chicago, who has a history of making anti-Semitic statements in the past. We have learned previously that Jeremiah Wright, Father Pfleger and Farrakhan all had some degree of collaborative relationship with each other dating back a number of years when Chicago was Barack Obama's home base.
In any event, at one point, Farrakhan apparently has proclaimed to his flock that Barack Obama is the "messiah". I am uncertain of the significance of the term "messiah" in Islamic theology:

Has anyone noticed that all of the questionable associates of Barack Obama are from Chicago? It's truly amazing that one city could have so many radicals, anti-Americans, and corrupt individuals. Of course, Chicago is the city that gave us "Vote early -- and often".
The cynical phrases "Vote early -- and often" and "Vote early -- and vote often" are variously attributed to three different Chicagoans: Al Capone, the famous gangster; Richard J. Daley, mayor from 1955 to 1976; and William Hale Thompson, mayor from 1915-1923 and 1931-1935. All three were notorious for their corruption and their manipulation of the democratic process. It is most likely that Thompson invented the phrase, and Capone and Daley later repeated it.
And, ACORN is following in their notorious footsteps.

Stormy, Chicago can be deceptive.
I have been there several times for meetings. The areas I have been have been fairly pleasant.
But politically, Chicago is a cesspool.

Joe,
I, too, have been to Chicago for meetings, and I had a great time in so doing. But, sadly, Chicago's beauty is superficial. The real ugliness lies below and unseen by the casual visitor.

He must be the "messiah" last night I was playing cards with friends I've played cards with for several years. Somehow, I didn't bring it up, politics crept into the conversation and then I found out how much some people actually "hate" George Bush! I was shocked that that reason plus the state of the economy, is why some of my friends are voting for Qbama. In reality they know little about Obama but think the Republicans, the party they identifly with George Bush, have trumpted up the charges that Obama has associated with people of savory character. The hump the Republicans have to over come is George Bush and McCain has not done a very good job of doing that, I couldn't sway anybody that Obama was a dangerous choice, the hate is that deep. Beau

Beau,
If your friends think that all of the friends of Obama are "trumped-up", then there is no changing their minds. They will vote for Obama regardless. Let's just be sure that when things go sour for them under an Obama Administration, that you remind them of that conversation. When people arrive at that point, no facts or evidence will change their minds.

Beau,
Actually, as I think about it, it is no surprise that so many people hate George Bush. Sure, he has made his share of mistakes as president. Not many presidents make it through eight years without some mistakes, some of them big ones.
But, with George Bush, the public has been deluged for eight years with negatives about George Bush from many directions. Of course, it all started because he won the 2000 election, and Al Gore and the Dems cried foul. They thought that they had that election in the bag. It's been a barrage of criticism about George Bush ever since then. After eight years of being told that a person is a stupid cowboy, a lot of people start to believe it. With him beating them in two presidential elections, they have become furious, and they are determined to destroy any legacy that he might have. And, the national media has been hammering those negatives on us for a long time. Just take a look at the previews of Oliver Stone's new movie.
I also think that the destruction of George Bush is payback to the Republicans for the impeachment of the beloved Bill Clinton. The Dems were angry about the impeachment, and this is their retribution.
Nothing will stop the assault for several years after he has left office. It doesn't matter in the end whether the critics are right or wrong anymore. You hear something long enough and often enough, you start to believe it, true or not. It's called propaganda.

Thier hate is so deep that when I advised them that Obama is worse than the second comming of Jimmy Carter it had no effect! And I also told them that we will have this conversation again a year from now. Beau

Does any one realize that Obama based on association with some really bad characters most probable could be the first president that can't get a security clearance! Beau
