Via Under the Dome, the News and Observer reports that Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina is rumored to be a potential VP pick for Senator John McCain.
I was a big supporter of Burr when he ran for the Senate. He is usually right on the issues, and I have appreciated his service and leadership. But I have mixed feelings about McCain.
Burr might be wise to strike a different approach than his predecessor-- former Senator Edwards-- and complete his first term.
