A Disturbing Example
There are a number of reasons why informed consent legislation that incorporates a waiting period for elective abortion is needed in the state of North Carolina.
This type of event is one of those reasons.
The legislation continues to be held up in committee in the state legislature. At least four area legislators have received support from pro-abortion groups like Emily's List-- Kay Hagan, Katie Dorsett, Pricey Harrison and Maggie Jeffus. They are part of the majority that continues to block informed consent legislation.



Why do the "choice" advocates oppose regulation of their abortion mills if they are truly concerned for the life of the bearer of life, a person that would have been a mother.
